Anam Ċara

In the ancient Celtic tradition, an Anam Ċara is a soul friend — someone whose presence creates warmth, ease, and belonging.

That spirit has always lived at Cape Cod Irish Village.

For generations, people have gathered here for music, celebrations, stories, reunions, late nights, and unforgettable weekends on Cape Cod.

Some arrive as guests.
Many return as family.

Born in Yarmouth in 1976, Irish Village has come home once again — now welcoming old friends and new ones at our new home inside the Aiden by Best Western.

About Us

A Place of Belonging Since 1976

Cape Cod Irish Village began in Yarmouth in 1976 with a simple idea: create a place where everyone feels welcome.

Over the decades, generations of families, musicians, travelers, and locals made Irish Village part of their Cape Cod tradition. It became known not only for its music and hospitality, but for something harder to describe — the feeling that you belonged there.

The ancient Celtic tradition has a word for it: Anam Ċara. Soul friend. The person, or place, that allows you to feel fully yourself.

That spirit has always guided us, and it continues to guide us today.

Now celebrating 50 years and returning home to Yarmouth at the Aiden, Cape Cod Irish Village remains what it has always been:
a gathering place filled with music, warmth, laughter, storytelling, and connection.

Whether you are visiting for the first time or returning for the fiftieth, the welcome is the same.

The door is open.

Two Coasts, One Spirit.

The Atlantic Ocean separates Cape Cod and Ireland, yet somehow they feel deeply connected. Salt air. Harbor towns. Music spilling from warm rooms into cool nights. Places where people gather not because they have to, but because they want to stay a little longer.

At Cape Cod Irish Village, the spirit of coastal Ireland finds a home on the shores of Cape Cod.
